i began to like jade a lot
actually chi culture is really amazing
we haven been too affected by the western culture
that we gradually forget our own roots
however it is still best for us to have a mixture
depending too much on one side is not good

i admire strongly the strong mother and daughter relationship
in the joy luck club
before reading this book i never know that the bond
between mother and daughter can be so great
their sense and pride in face and identity too
lit lessons of joy luck always amazes me
i love this book a lot
actually Amy Tan's book are all very nice to read
i read before another book of hers
as usual it is about chinese culture
bond between mother and daug too
it is called the the bonesetter's daughter
i read it only once
but i could sense that it is a good book
too bad it is not one of the books that we need to
study for literature
i will read another time ba

it is about compeititors
i think what they say is right
having compeitition is important
without someone to compete with
we wun have the force to push us to succeed
everybody can do what we can do
but it is them that our own work and our own success is being recognized
compeititors can't live without each other
like best friends

reading a lot of newspapers today
tired
trying to improve my vocab knowledge from newspapers
thus i have asked my mother
to buy newspapers everyday
coz i never read any until this week
so i have mountian s to finish today
i manage to read quite fast la
usually i just scan thru
as most of the news i am not interested
i am more interested in prime news and homw news
asia and world news not much appealing
left 3 sets now
taking a break now
130 pm going to read again

we went Tuas incineration plant today
cool!
at first the instructor gave us an introduction on incineration
and amount of waste generated in singapore these years
onli then i know that singapore generated
at least 7000 tonnes of waste per day!
we are just a population of 4 million yet we produced so much waste
what will happen to countries like US or UK?
hahas
can't imagine it manns;D
after the quite formal introduction the instructor
took us to the different sections of the incineration plant
even though at some places the smell may be quite unpleasant
the trip was still worthy of it
we saw alot of rubbish
ALOT (in mountains)
hahas
instructor say that some may be few days old
and some at the very bottom can be as old as a few years!
some accidents had happen before and people fall into the rubbish hole
it was utterly disgusting and terrible to fall into a mountain of rubbish lah
the hole is so big that even a truck can fall in!~
::wells, the intructor says indeed a truck fell in before::
anyway after visiting rubbish hole we went to other places
we did not really went into the processing area as it is too dangerous
what we could do was onli to went into the control centre
and look at it thru TVs or windows
but to us it was very good alr;D
due to time limit
the trip ended very fast
::hahas we were very tired and slept a bit thruout the bus trip,evonne sleep until very funni!
her head would follow the direction the bus was turning when she was sleeping!;D::

but in the end the album will not be releasing earlier
in singapore!!!!
