CHEM E ASSESSMENT IS DRAINING. i think i spent around 3 hrs just to get a 15/15 . this clearly shows i need a lot more of practices for chem. -nods- shall buck up!



3 things i wanna talk about today:


1. DANCE LESSONS!
SO Sorry to eliz and the instructor! i was really late today for dance lessons( at least 20 mins) and the instructor have to extend the lesson a littlle longer in order to finish teaching the first few steps of the dance. today's lesson is pretty okay, just that i am not used to the first 4 sexy poses we need to pose before the dance actually starts.LOL.i mean, for those who know me, do u think i can do a SEXY pose?! -. suddenly hope that there are guys in the class, then the dance will be more neutral.HAHA.


i brought camera so me and eliz took our fav mirror photo! (eliz: you can gope from here:D )






2. XILEI AND MY BDAE PRESENTS!(:
HAHA, after spending a very very very long time on the presents, we finally gave to each other our bdae present last monday.This was what i gave her this year! it was definitely not as EX as last year. (last yr's seriously cost a BOMB KAY) i decided to cut down budget this year as i realise that cost is not important, what is important is the hardwork and love you put in(: here are some photos of my present for her!















Xilei gave me something different this year too. She bought a lot different kind of practical things (what she claimed lar, lol like facemask?!) In addition, she also added a 千年老书 to the present!hahas, this 千年老书 is about how she beat a monster by her ultimate lameness and ate his eye which amazingly had a 长生不老仙丹hidden inside that caused her to become even more powerful and somemore 长生不老-. haha the whole main purpose of this letter was to show off her lameness to me! LOL.



3.Harmoc EXCO speeches!
We had our speeches yesterday at Lt 1.Everybody was confident and presented well in their speech. haha i think my speech was okay, just that i was quite nervous at the start.and lol!i know everybody started laughing when i name myself as the " sunflower girl ", esp weiling they all. Anw, thanks to all those who think i am capable enough to hold such a high position during Q & A session (: i believe all of us do have the ability too(: so jiayou! good luck to all for the results!

me and eliz went for dancepointe HIP HOP classes today at its branch studio situated at anchorvale CC(:LOL that place is really ulu lar,surrounding the community club is mostly grassplains, roads and trees.i never know sengkang has such a ulu place. Well, as all of us are girls, the instructor teaches us lady hip hop instead of those more neutral dances(so it is quite different from the one i learnt in arts day) Lady hip hop requires us to dance with a lot of body waves and sexy moves.we tried some today but apparently it doesn't look SEXY enough.LOL.It was really quite enjoying and moreover most of them are my senoir cynthia's friends (from st nicks, blue badge). The fees are rather cheap, 8 lessons for $120, one lesson per week fro an hour. Well i am trying to promote it as the class is still quite small. Hence anyone INTERESTED PLEASE DO TELL US!(:

2 BIG PROBLEMS:

1.SINUS:
i just realise today my problem is not called sinusitis.the exact term should be called Nasal Allergy / Allergic Rhinitis

Rhinitis is defined as inflammation of the nasal mucosa and is characterized by a symptom complex that consists of any combination of the following: sneezing, nasal congestion, nasal itching, and rhinorrhea. The eyes, ears, sinuses, and throat can also be involved. Rhinitis of the nose can be infective (as infective rhinitis, e.g. common cold, upper respiratory tract infection), or non-infective (inflammatory) e.g. allergic rhinitis. Allergic rhinitis is the most common cause of rhinitis. It is an extremely common condition, affecting over 20% of the population. Allergic rhinitis involves inflammation of the mucous membranes of the nose, eyes, eustachian tubes, middle ear, sinuses, and pharynx.

Complications

The complications of allergic rhinitis include otitis media, eustachian tube dysfunction, acute sinusitis, and chronic sinusitis. Allergic rhinitis has been shown to lead to significant impairment of quality of life. Symptoms such as fatigue, drowsiness (due to the disease or to medications), and malaise can lead to impaired work and school performance, missed school or work days, and traffic accidents. The overall cost (direct and indirect) of allergic rhinitis was recently estimated (in United States) to be $5.3 billion per year.

Symptoms and Signs[ describe exactly what i am feeling almost everyday ]

Symptoms and signs of allergic rhinitis include rhinorrhea (runny nose), nasal congestion, sneezing, nose itching, redness, tearing, swelling, ear pressure, and postnasal drip. Most patients also have watery eyes and itchy eyes. Throat symptoms include persistent phlegm, recurrent sore throat and chronic cough. "Allergic shiners" are dark circles around the eyes and are related to vasodilation or nasal congestion. "Nasal crease" is a horizontal crease across the lower half of the bridge of the nose that is caused by repeated upward rubbing of the tip of the nose by the palm of the hand (ie, the "allergic salute"). The mucosa of the nasal turbinates may be swollen (boggy) and have a pale, bluish-gray color. With the swollen turbinates, the nasal passage is narrowed, resulting in difficulty breathing and nasal congestion.

Factors

Precipitating factors of the allergic rhinitis include pollens, outdoor moulds, dust mites, pets, cockroaches and rodents. These are inhalant allergens that when inhaled into the nose will land on the nasal mucosa and bind with the immunoglobulin E and set off a cascade of chemically mediated allergic response. Food allergens have also been incriminated in the development of nasal symptoms in allergies. These allergens both inhaled and ingested can be tested and assessed in patients.

i can't solely depend on overdosage of vitamin C everyday.In fact, it doesn't really help anymore.Only that i can stll manage to crawl to school with such high immunity stats unlike my sec 3 and 4 year.

yet i dun know what to do.been bearing with it for years.i really feel quite tired about it..sighs. incurable :/

2. TIME MANAGEMENT:
